On Saturday lunchtime, Derby County host Norwich City in what promises to be a Championship cracker.
Derby currently boast a 100% winning record at Pride Park after dispatching Middlesborough, Cardiff City and Bristol City while Norwich enter this contest one point and one place behind the hosts.
Paul Warne was boosted by news off the field on Tuesday, as David Clowes announced plans to sell 80% of his shares in Derby to inject further cash into the club.
Warne dropped an ‘honest’ verdict on the investment rumours but his focus is firmly on helping his side bounce back from their 1-0 loss to Sheffield United last weekend.

Home comforts will give them the confidence to do exactly that but EFL pundit Sam Parkin predicts Norwich City to end Derby’s flawless home record this weekend.
Derby County team news ahead of Norwich City
Derby have multiple injury concerns heading into this clash, with Warne confirming that Callum Elder will miss three to four matches with a groin injury.
Elder joins Crystal Palace loanee David Ozoh on the injury table, who is expected to return to action after the international break.
It wasn’t all doom and gloom on the injury front, though, as it was revealed on Tuesday that Tawanda Chirewa has recovered from concussion and is back in contention.
Likewise, right-back Kane Wilson is fine after a minor setback and young centre-back Jake Rooney is back on grass after suffering a knee injury in pre-season.
So, with all that said, here’s how Derby could lineup against Norwich.

Derby County predicted XI vs Norwich City
Jacob Widell Zetterstom has arguably been Derby’s most impressive signing this summer and he continues between the sticks against Norwich City.
Warne is forced into making one change to the defence that lost to the Blades. Elder – who has been ‘terrific’ this term – will be replaced by the ‘excellent’ Craig Forsyth.
The rest of the back four is the same as usual, with Ryan Nyambe on the right and Eiran Cashin partnering Curtis Nelson in the middle.
Without the presence and power of Ozoh in midfield, Warne drafted Ben Osborn into the starting XI last weekend and he should continue in his deeper role alongside Ebou Adams and Kenzo Goudmijn.
Supporting them in attack will be Kayden Jackson on the right, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing on the left and Jerry Yates leading the line once more.
Derby County (4-3-3): Zetterstrom; Nyambe, Cashin, Nelson, Forsyth; Adams, Osborn, Goudmijn; Jackson, Mendez-Laing, Yates.
