There are now less than nine days remaining in the summer transfer window and Derby County are expecting more additions before deadline day.
Paul Warne ensured the Rams got the majority of their summer transfer business done early in the current window.
So far, Derby County have signed nine first-team players as they look to avoid relegation from the Championship in 2024/25.
Midfield was a real problem area for the newly-promoted side but four new faces have since arrived through the door.
Ben Osborn impressed for Derby against Middlesbrough this past Saturday, with the centre of the pitch now a strong area.
However, there are still a couple more additions that need to be made this month if Derby want to ensure they keep their place in the Championship for 2025/26.
So, with that in mind, here’s what a dream end to the transfer window may look like at Pride Park.

Derby County sign Ali Al-Hamadi
The main position that now needs to be strengthened before the close of the transfer window is centre-forward.
Kayden Jackson and Jerry Yates have arrived at the club in the last couple of months but neither player is a particularly prolific goalscorer.
As a result, Derby need to sign another striker to ensure they have a steady supply of goals in the 2024/25 season.
Luton Town’s Cauley Woodrow was linked with Derby earlier this month but that transfer chase has gone somewhat cold.
However, a former target of the Rams would be the perfect signing for Warne and co.
Derby County were linked with Ali Al-Hamadi last year while he was impressing with AFC Wimbledon in League Two.
No move transpired and the player has returned to parent club Ipswich Town for the current season. Kieran McKenna is a fan of the player and has previously dubbed him ‘fantastic’, as per the Ipswich Star.
However, Ipswich have fielded enquiries for Al-Hamadi recently, with several Championship clubs looking to take the player on loan. Derby are not named specifically but they should re-ignite their interest and get a deal done.

Dajaune Brown leaves Derby County on loan
Derby do not have the biggest squad in the world and will need all the help they can get in their battle to stay up.
However, a move for Dajuane Brown this month does make a lot of sense.
The 18-year-old has made just six senior appearances for the club and is unlikely to see too much action in the current campaign.
He started as Warne’s men beat Chesterfield in the League Cup but Derby fans offers mixed reactions to Brown’s performance in the 2-1 comeback win.
Warne says that he’s undecided on Browne’s future right now but it is clear the teenager will need to start playing on a more regular basis if he is to develop further.
Derby have received multiple enquiries for Brown and it would be wise for the club to let him leave on loan before trying to integrate him into the first team next year.
